SoundPound is looking for an Independent Chair to help guide the next chapter of our journey.
We’re a consortium of 12 credit unions working together across Greater Manchester, supporting more than 160,000 members and proving that finance can be fair, local and community-owned.
We’ve launched innovative lending products, partnered with organisations like TfGM and Fair4All Finance and are now exploring how shared services, digital infrastructure and regional collaboration can help credit unions thrive in the future.
We’re looking for someone who can bring strategic thinking, good governance, a collaborative approach and perhaps a healthy amount of curiosity about what community finance could become.
It’s around two days a month, expenses paid and a chance to help build something that genuinely makes a difference.
